So far things had been going really well between Gideon Kate. Still, given the layout of the boat Gideon had found himself slightly at a loss of different places to take her out and be with her; there were only so many decks that were safe, after all. And many of them weren't very scenic.
Tonight, though, he was determined to set something up for them. Come nightfall he had mixed a large pot of hot chocolate up, then walked it up to the top deck under the open air. In his other hand he carried a blanket-- just one, that was the key. After setting out the mugs and the hot chocolate, he opened up a line on his com.
"Hey Kate? I'm out on the top deck, made a little something up for you. Wanna come keep your drummer company?"
