[Alice is determined to find her Hatter, so much so, in fact, that she's gone ahead and gotten to work on that tea party she had invited you all to not so long ago! She's gone to a lot of effort, you see, and - along with the help of a certain cabin boy named Siran (who, unbeknownst to Alice, has slipped in a few little savory tricks, uh oh) -

[Vie is standing by the door, arms folded while she watches the room with interest. She can tell Alice has put a lot of effort into this, and it pleases her to see that Alice is moving forward.

She hasn't decided what she wants to eat or drink yet, so for the moment, Vie is people watching.]

[Alice's voice is distant. She might appear to be moving on, but Alice is still holding out some hope that this might draw out Tarrant and Godric.]

Do you think they will come?

[Alice certainly isn't alone in that hope, even if Vie hadn't planned on ever voicing it. Sanya and Lilith had encouraged her to keep moving forward, and she knew that was what she intended to do, at least on the outside.]

Alice! I... don't know. One can hope, I guess.

[Alice figures that if they do not show up to this, then she will not mention it again. Though she, like Vie, will not let go of hope.]

I hope I didn't startle you, I do tend to unintentionally do that at times.

[Alice decides its best to move off tender subjects.]

Have you tried the pastries? They're delightful!

[It's good to remember. Vie refuses to forget a friend, or lose hope no matter how bad the situation is.]

No, you didn't. I was just thinking... not really paying attention regardless of everything going on.]

[She smiles a little, understanding and encouraging at the same time.]

I have not. Admittedly, I've just been watching everyone else thus far. All look to be enjoying themselves. You've done well, Alice.

[Alice nibbles on a cookie thoughtfully.]

Oh, you must before you leave, they're Divine, and I-

...

[Alice pauses. Something feels off.]

Vie, would you mind taking a look at the top of my head? I do believe I am now sporting rabbit ears.

[Vie stops, eyes wide and stares at the top of Alice's head.]

...You are quite relaxed about this.

[She has no idea what the heck is going on right now.]

Well, I suppose it's not a terribly big deal, I have grown and shrunk and been stuffed into a tea pot, so this isn't all that unusual anymore.

[She gives one an experimental flick.]

Reminds me of Nivens.

[Vie's just going to keep on staring. She starts to reach out to touch one of Alice's ears, only to catch herself mid way through the motion.]

Who is Nivens? And... have you had ears like this before?

[Alice tilts her head. Go on and give them a touch, Vie. Alice is extremely fond of them already.]

Oh, Nivens is the little white rabbit in a waistcoat I Was telling you about before! [Alice chuckles, rolling her eyes skyward as if to try and look through the top of her head to see them.]

Oh no, never rabbit ears. This is most decidedly a new sensation.

[Strange as it is, if not a little scary, Vie does reach out to gently touch Alice's new ears. She feels a little silly, but smiles all the same.]

Ah, yes I remember now.

[She drops her hand.]

What did this then?

[She flicks one in Vie's general direction.]

Well. If I'm not mistaken, I do believe it had something to do with one of the cookies. Odd, but not terribly surprising, really.
