She's gone to a lot of effort, you see, and - along with the help of a certain cabin boy named Siran (who, unbeknownst to Alice, has slipped in a few little savory tricks, uh oh) -

[Hey, look, people are gathering. Castiel, naturally curious, wants to look around and try things. But with Cyrus with him, he's hesitant to just lead him in there.

So for right now, he's going to just look inside from the door.]

[Cyrus has noticed that Castiel stopped walking and so he does the same. He'd peek around Castiel's shoulder, but, you know.]

What is it?

[Castiel shifts a little bit before turning to look at Cyrus.]

It appears there is some sort of party going on.

...you want to go in?

...I would like to check it out, yes.

Then let's go in. Lead the way.

[Castiel leads Cyrus in and over to the snacks.]

There's quite a selection of sweets here.

[Cyrus follows Castiel inside. He hears people talking; he smells baked goods and maybe just a hint of liquor. Definitely a party of some kind.]

Hmm. Pick one for me, would you?

Alright.

[Castiel has no idea what most of these are, so he picks up a scone with green frosting for Cyrus and a sugar cookie for himself. Then he leads Cyrus over to a table to sit.]

[Castiel's picks are even more of a surprise to Cyrus. After they sit down, Cyrus holds his hand out expectantly.]

[Castiel hands the scone to Cyrus and studies the sugar cookie intently. Then he takes a bite.

And suddenly, he's REALLY hungry.]

[Cyrus, too, takes a bite of his pastry.

The world tilts a little. Feels like he just shot upwards or something. His bones feel weird.]

What... just happened?

[Castiel sees weird movement in his peripheral vision, so he turns to look at Cyrus.

And tilts his head up.]

You...just grew a lot taller all of a sudden.

[Blink. Blink blink. Blink freaking blink blink.]

I. What?

[A foot and a few inches taller, in fact. Though he doesn't realize it, Cyrus could go head-to-head with Sal at this point. Hello, six-foot-seven.]

[Oh... Guess who is alerted from the other side of the room at the sight of a veeeeeeeery tall Elvaan?
