Now that the owls are all fluttering your way I do not feel any need to keep this mum. With everyone doing their part to rebuild the Wizarding community in one way or another I found myself not quite employing the same efforts. Afterall, being in the Order kept me busy and involved in one way or another, and with the war over I feel at a loss for things to do. So, I asked Headmistress McGonagall to allow me to help with the fundraising campaign for Hogwarts and she accepted. I hope I can count on all of you to help participate in the fundraisers and give me a swift kick in the âne if I dream up anything too crazy. Though I have already heard mention of a Remus Lupin kissing booth and flying a firebolt with Harry Potter, and though I have no doubt that would be wildly popular I will do my best to keep you all from feeling obligated to do anything silly. Although, the thought of Severus in a dunk tank was rather entertaining. Hogwarts was not my school, but I want all of you to know how much respect I actually do have for tradition of your alma mater, and not just that, but I feel that Hogwarts must reopen and be free from ministry control to be able to educate. This isn't a job I take lightly and I am going to work very hard to be sure the school reopens by 1 September.
And as I know I will be receiving owl post from you all in the next few days I hope you will include a date and time we can meet for lunch/ a drink at the Leaky, and at the least a quick note of how you are all fairing.

Minerva has asked me to promise her that I will have a companion when visiting certain members of society as much of my time will be visiting and collecting private donations for the school. Though I can't entirely blame her for this request, I am certainly not blind to the power of money, Bill is quite busy at Gringott's these days and not readily available as an escort. Therefore, I turn to you all in hopes that if need be, I may call upon a companion during visitations. The time required would only be an hour to two depending on who the visit is. I will be sure to send word a good deal ahead of the time of scheduled appointments to allow you to plan. I don't foresee needing an escort to all meetings, but there are certain less, savory, members of society where I would welcome the added company.
