Halloween party!

Every passenger will suddenly find themselves whisked to deck 20 for Redd's annual Halloween party (it's a day late, but shhh, he's been busy)!  It has been programmed to look like a cemetery, complete with stone gravestones and long, damp grass padded out with clumps of soft soil.  Ooooh, spooky!   The headstones read many names, none of which are

Doumeki's first thought upon suddenly not being in his room any more is something along the lines of: "What?" Eloquent, I know. He'll pause a moment to take stock of his surroundings-the awkward-looking buffet, the alcohol, his costume (a cowboy,)-before turning to the person next to him.

"What happen?"

[Kobato is has given up trying to remove her mummy printed paperbag thing when she looks up and spots a familiar figure.]

Doumeki-san?

[he looks up at the familiar voice, picking Kobato out of the crowd and moving closer so they can talk.]

"Hello Kobato-san."

[She stops tugging on the bottom of her paperbag thing and bows quickly.]

[Kobato waves a hand gesturing to their surroundings.]

"Do you know what this is all about?"

[he wishes he did; being out of the know is mildly disconcerting]

"I don't know. There are a lot of people that showed up here, though."

"There's a theme but I don't understand it. I didn't come here by choice. I just appeared."

[That was not one of the celebrations Ioryogi-san told her about.]

"It's a holiday to honor the dead. It started in Spain and Mexico, then moved to the United States, then went from there." [it does not actually occur to him that she might not know what those places are]

[Yeah, no clue as to where those places are but Doumeki-san seems very knowledgeable on the matter so she'll trust him.]

"That's nice, the dead need to be remembered."
