As the red mass slithers away through the bowels of the boat, passengers who took the deal will vanish as well.
The Captain turns to James LaPointe, the heron at his side; he's furious. "Fool. The doctor doesn't reply, and the rest of the crew, clearly shaken, remain silent but for Redd's First Mate

When Kevas tries to take the step forward his legs turn to wet noddles and he pitches forward onto the floor. The troll is out like a light.

She's not to incredibly stunned to not notice Kevas passed out where he is, however. Sarea sighs and pushes herself up with a wince, figuring she should at least try to get him on a cot, since he pretty much saved her ass back at the 'party'. He's lighter then he normally was, certainly, but she's still human to, and he's knocked out, so it takes her a while to manage to half-lift him under a shoulder and get him to a cot, but she manages, immediately sinking down on the floor beside the cot and panting.
"Sleep well, Kevas." is all she can manage to mumble before passing out herself.

It being whatever food she had eaten since the party, although it's not much. And it's proof to her that she's still human as well.

Castiel comes up beside her, covered in blood and clenching a short sword tightly in his right hand. He reaches out with his free hand, but stops right before touching her.

She's bloody but not as injured as she looks, thanks to Nel's healing, as she turns to look at Castiel and...
Weakly flings herself at the older man and starts crying.

He sighs quietly, exhausted, and just rests his head against Roll's.

Then he blinks again.
"Odette?"

"Phoenix! You're okay. Thank goodness." She's a mix of relief and embarrassment.

Flushing slightly, he clears his throat. "Are you all right? Were you harmed in the...?" Attack? Was that even the right word for it?

For the first time in seven years, Karis is actually going to sleep.

[Her vision is the last to kick in, colors and shapes puzzling out of the blackness that bogs her down. Everything aches as if she hadn't moved in days, limbs stiff- She wants to roll over, but the effort in doing so just seems so out of reach.]
[Then the memories come back in a flood, and suddenly she feels violently ill, body jerking to the side as stomach muscles contract to expel... nothing. Just dry heaves, tears prickling into the corners of her eyes. The birds.. The horrible, sudden chaos that erupted out of seemingly nowhere. The blood, the horrible sounds- she hadn't been able to find anyone. What had happened? Had she passed out? -No. Something else. Something worse ( ... )

He can't run, his half-deafness and splitting headache have created a serious sense of vertigo, but he eventually makes it to her, yanking a blanket off a nearby cot to tug around her shoulders. His voice comes out in a quiet croak.]
K-katara. Hey, w-welcome back.
[He's smiling when he hits his knees next to her, as miserable and sick as he feels, he's happy. His little sister's okay. She's fine. Katara's alive, and that's all that matters in this second.]

I left. [It's sort of a question, but more of a statement. Was that really what it felt like to die? She can barely remember. It was just hurt and noise and then nothing. And then here. Like she'd fallen asleep, almost. But... it was deeper, thicker than that ( ... )

Wait. That's-- hold on.
[He shakily gets up and shifts around her, sitting on her opposite side, and pulls her close, so her head can rest on his non-bloodied shoulder.]
And, this way I can sort of hear you.
[Everything he's saying is half-murmured.]
I'm not going anywhere, though. I might need to sleep soon, though. Bad night.
