On the HK Gather
Sadly, I will not be making the HK gather this year. I have enjoyed the last two and it really is my only chance to see certain people, who I really do wish to see.
As it stands, however, I must continue working toward short-term survival and long-term stability. I am at that interesting cross roads when one realizes what one really and truly wants to do with one's life. But how to make it happen - well, that little detail always seems to get left out of those moments of deep insight.
So basically, I am investing time and energy into making sure my life keeps moving on the right track, towards achieving my eventual goals and happiness. And - AT THE SAME TIME! - I am trying to find a job I don't really want in order to keep things going short term. It really feels like pulling in two different directions sometimes.
In any case, I remain steadfast. We shall overcome. Additional inspirational statements of intent.
