So I have determined that cats are a species that occasionally need to have their identity as cats confirmed by external sources.
Yes, I still inform Spooky regularly that she is a kitty.
In fact, people still inform me that I am a kitty.
One might naively think it has been long enough that all parties should have figured this out by now... but the truth is I kind of like it.
I think it is just a thing that needs saying once in a while. Better get used to it. >^_^
