Wakashi set the files his father had handed him just moments earlier down atop the desk, files he had been waiting for since his father mentioned his future at Gakuin. His brain was working overtime processing all the information he could regarding his future job. His job and a certain someone known as Shuichi Ichigo that was going to be a huge part of his future life.

"Do you think you will mange?" While his father stated this in question form it was far from it. It did not matter if Wakashi believed he could or could not, he HAD to manage.

"I have babysat brats before, nothing seems too peculiar." he announced back and looked the older man in the eyes. He would not state his concern of the scum that surrounded Shuichi at the moment or the attempt on the peer’s life. There was one minor detail that was getting to Wakashi and it involved the situation considering the work within a small coffee shop Shuichi worked at.

Wakashi stared some at the picture of Shuichi that laid on the table into his glass covered eyes, memorizing every feature. "My only question is when they are dismissing the scum that is currently in control."

Kyoya Yanagi shifted some and the age on his face really showed for a moment before the toughness returned. "I don't know if they are dismissing him. I believe he will stay at the shop in his current position and they have offered to let you work in the back." This made Wakashi scuff in disgust.

"If I am required to work in the coffee shop as well then perhaps you can convince them to put the scum on dish duty instead." he added with a sneer. "No reason I get stuck in back when I am more qualified for the job." Wakashi was not one to go back on orders and would do it if he had to but there was no reason to try and not make his job a little bit more decent.

Before his father could respond the door shyly opened and Wakashi's stepsister Victoria peeked in. Whenever Wakashi saw Victoria he couldn't help but smile, even now in the middle of the discussion about the dark path known as the rest of his life she lit up the room. Her blonde curls hung loosely around her and the long soft pink nightgown she was wearing.

"When can Waka come play, papa?" she asked in her soft accented voice. Even Kyoya couldn't help but smile at the child. "Soon Princess," Waka spoke gently to her, "Go set up your games and I will join you shortly."

Victoria's smile grew in excitement before running out the door. Once she was gone the room grew cold again. "Make it happen." Wakashi spoke sternly. "You volunteered my services and I will not degrade myself working the sinks at some run down coffee shop to watch the Wolf's heir. Either I am waiting or I will not work there."

His dad nodded some as he picked up his cell and made the call. Wakashi walked out of the room and looked at his own phone. No call from Rinji yet, he was wondering when the girl would try and get back with him like always and then Wakashi thought of the girl he had met after his break up. Amanda Evers Sawada, something was seriously off with her and he hoped to see her again and prove himself wrong.

He had told her to look for him in the local coffee and tea shops around town, just maybe he would see her at Shuichi’s shop. It also gave him a reason to introduce himself to the little wolf and to get rid of the scum feeding off of the young blood. He made a note to head there tomorrow to try and find them. He entered the den to see Victoria was already there and waiting with a chess board in front of her.
