A Secret Unleashed - Prologue
Here is the third installment of the 'Secret' series.

Prologue
His breathing was heavy, laboured but filled with need. As his grasped the flesh of his lover he groaned in contentment. Their sweat mixed together and the aroma was a heady combination, both lost in the passion of the moment. Their times together were getting rarer so they filled these precious episodes with as much love and fervour as they could, not knowing when they would be able to meet up again for an illicit tryst. As he trailed kisses down the younger man’s chest the sound of the front door slamming caused them to stop in their tracks. With no words uttered they both jumped from the bed, grabbing clothing and smoothing down bed linen as they dressed. As the bedroom door opened he hoped his wife would see nothing amiss. She stood in the doorway, obviously shocked at the sight of the two of them.
“Hey Nat, good time at the shops? Get everything you wanted?” He hoped his voice didn’t give him away. She looked at the pair of them quizzically before answering.
“Yeah I guess…what’re you doing up here? I thought you were in the studio today, that’s why you said you couldn’t come shopping or watch the kids.” She was right, that was what he’d told her. A necessary lie to enable him to have precious time with the one he loved more than any other.
“Yeah I was but we got finished early…” he trailed off, he had no excuse as to why he was actually up here…with him…
She looked at the pair of them, sweaty and dishevelled. What the hell had they been doing? As an answer to her unuttered question the intruder in her and her husband’s room began to speak.
“Moving furniture, we’ve been moving furniture. Tay thought we’d try altering the layout in here a bit to see if it’d be any easier with the crib…”
She looked around the room, nothing had moved. As she opened her mouth to respond he continued.
“But we decided that this was the best layout after all so we moved everything back didn’t we Tay? Absolutely exhausted now though, didn’t realise it’d make us sweat that much, more physical exertion than we thought!” He ended on a big grin and that made her smile too. They’d been thinking of her, her and the new arrival. She turned from the room satisfied by the explanation, well what other explanation could there be?
As she left the room he let out a deep breath, unaware until that point that he’d been holding it.
“That was fucking close” he whispered. The response was a chuckle and a cheeky wink,
“I only like fucking close when it’s you Taylor.”
