Mr. Saverin said something else to his son in Portuguese before walking away. Mark couldn’t help peering out around the corner he had ducked behind and was faced with seeing a shattered sort of expression on Eduardo’s face.
Eduardo, however, was firmly planted in one spot, leaning against the bar, head propped up on his hand nursing yet another drink.
Despite how well things were going he didn’t want to tempt fate…or risk another laptop. So instead he sat gingerly on the edge of the bed and flipped through television channels with the remote, trying not to give too much thought to a wet, naked Eduardo in the shower.
When Eduardo finally emerged from the bathroom he was dressed in boxer briefs and Mark’s t-shirt, hair damp and eyes considerably clearer than they had been before.
Eduardo fell asleep on the plane. [...] here he was asleep next to Mark, lashes dark against his cheeks, hair a little disheveled, mouth parted slightly, face turned towards Mark where it lay against the dark blue airline seat. Mark saw him shiver a little bit so he grabbed his obligatory first-class blanket from the back of the seat in front of him without thinking. Gingerly, he draped it across Eduardo's chest, tucking it carefully behind his shoulders. He held his breath the whole time, afraid to wake him up. When he was satisfied that Eduardo was warm again, he sat back in his own seat and let out a shaky breath.
End Notes: This was my first time participating in a big bang challenge(!) so I'm so excited and pleased/relieved that I could finish something! Thank you to leopardchic79 for writing this fic and giving me so many options (scenes) to choose from. ♥ =D It's been years since I've drawn and I realised while doing this, that it actually makes me happy, so right back to doing this, I go.
