So my computer's dead again. This time, it's either being fixed by the upper tier technicians (which makes me wonder who was fixing it before) or getting replaced. It all depends on what the problem is. Apparently something called an IDE is probably pretty thoroughly borked. Oh well. I've confirmed that my beloved crazy uncle will be furnishing me with his old compy when he updates later this month, so it doesn't really matter at this point except that I spent a shitload of money and want to get something for it.
School's going really well - and more stressfully than usual. My classes are fantastic, but I have next to no down time. It's tough even to fit Anime Club into my schedule. Visits from the Chief are, of course, an exception. There's always room for them. We spent his visit this weekend being that couple. He likes it, and it's starting to grow on me. This relationship thing in general is starting to be easier and feel more natural. I think I might even be getting better at it. That said, waking up alone on Monday morning is a feeling I'll never get used to.
Speaking of visits, Zachary has graced us with his presence. He's pretty much the same as he ever was - at least superficially. I wonder how it feels to be done with school forever. Here's hoping I never find out!
Other than that, I've been stealing time from sleep and work to watch Slings & Arrows, a fantastic Canadian comedy-drama about a troupe of Shakespearean actors co-written by one of the guys from Kids in the Hall. It's a perfect blend of allusion and originality!
And now I must away for yet another WA conference. They're hard because there's not that much to talk about with a one-page paper. How organized can such a short essay possibly be?
