The trouble with poet is: how do you know it's deceased?

Julie Andrews looks so young.  It's frankly kind of obnoxious.  Even the somewhat dreamy Craig Ferguson looks old next to her.

"I guess you come every evening and I don't..." - Julie Andrews to Craig Ferguson.   I imagine he doesn't, dreamy though he is.  Maybe it's because I've lost faith in the male libido.  I just haven't seen any proof it exists.  ;P

Anywho, my computer is still out of commission.  The wireless card seems only to want to work with the original OS (Vista), which I can't reinstall because the set of system disks the manufacturer commit some sort of error nobody's ever heard of and that tech support can't seem to explain.  It seems like my choice is to bother Acer tech support until I happen upon someone who happens to know the solution to the problem, which could take FOREVER or to find a way to work with another OS and manually introduce the wireless card and its driver to the rest of the computer, which I have no clue how to do.  I've tried checking forums and stuff, but I just don't understand any of it and, frankly, am entirely too frustrated to be capable of rational thought about the problem for long enough periods of time to figure it out.  I could get by without wireless except that there's no way to get wired internet in my house outside of my parents' room, where I don't particularly fancy spending a lot of time because my mom is always there.

While I try to resolve my computer issues, I have to worry about the paper I have to do for my job.  I want to work on it, but I can't.  Not only do I not have a computer I can be at for more than a few stolen minutes while my sister is busy elsewhere, but I also have no idea how to explain myself as a writer.  Whoever said I was a writer anyway?  I'm not, so I guess I'll have to fake it.
