The raindrops are snaking down the window panes. The clouds over the city made it so dark you could be forgiven for thinking it's evening, then the light broke through from the south, and Castlereagh Street turned into a bright river of light. It cut straight through the darkness - I wish I'd had my camera

Damn you for getting that song stuck in my head! But yeah, I was totally thinking that today when I was talking to Lou on the phone: it's like we're in Melbourne all of a sudden! (That got us into a whole discussion about getting a satellite image to check if Sydney and Melbourne have swapped places and whether jumping up and down waving our arms would be enough to get us in the picture, but I won't sport with your intelligence on that.)
