With a growing family, Phoenix and Neon had to have their house rebuilt. The current layout just wasn't working for them. They spent their nights in hotels and their days overseeing construction until finally, their home was ready for them.
The new house seemed to attract the wrong kinds of neighbors. Teenage kids would come by and kick their trashcan over, upon which stray dogs would then roll in. There were women who seemed to hate Neon for being pregnant, never wanting to congratulate her or even going so far as to insult her. There was a particular man named Donald (
bondchick_nett) who kept stealing their newspapers too.
But Neon was on cloud nine and never let any of it bother her. She was pregnant! This was the best time of her life!
Even if it made her overly exhausted and overly hungry at the same time. Sometimes, it was hard to pick which need to satisfy. But Phoenix was always there to cheer her up. He was always worrying about her, he seemed to let his own self fall to the wayside.
He didn't even notice he was slowly wasting away until it was almost too late. Neon, afraid to lose her beloved, did all she could to bring him back from the brink. In the end, love prevailed and Phoenix' very soul was saved.
Together, Phoenix and Neon welcomed their first son into the world. Larry Wright was a healthy baby boy, who greatly resembled his mother. He inherited her snow-like skin and her golden eyes, while he kept his father's russet hair.
Larry wasn't destined to be an only child. Some time after his birth, Neon found herself feeling the same way she had just felt. With time, a small lump began to form in her stomach and the Wright family prepared for another arrival.
