Let me have one more day before posting my report, if you don't mind. There appear to be inconsistencies in the sources, and I have yet to determine exactly which point in history Kojiro was taken from when he arrived here. After reading his journal, I think I now know what it feels like for my brain to try to crawl out of my skull from sheer distaste, so after it's posted I'm going to find something to do to try to clear my mind a bit.

If he beats you, he's decided that I get to be killed by him, too; that was his response to me telling him you'd be my champion when he started asking about a fight again, and I didn't want to push my luck too far. The only good news is that if you win without killing him, he says that I can do anything I want to him. I'll be watching the duel to make sure that he keeps his half of the bargain of only going after me after beating you.
Just don't lose to Kojiro, okay? And I'm still deciding what to do to him if he loses while keeping his life; he said he'd rather I kill him, but also said that it's my choice not his.

Monday is my birthday... I wonder what I should do to celebrate. It feels odd to be so far from anywhere I've been before and think about normal things like birthdays, actually.
Anyway, I hear there's going to be a Winter Formal soon. Celebrating the new year, and continuing to have that event despite everything that has happened would be the best way to show those who have been murdering lately that if their attempt is to cause fear, they have failed completely. It would also be a nice chance to relax, and try to be happy with those once cares for while in the City. Hm... once I find something to wear, I'll be attending in case anyone's curious or doesn't want to arrive at the formal alone. I can't dance, but that's not really the point, is it?
So, who else is going? And is there any other news than the formal and the murders?
