Today seems to be a rather unfortunate curse, but I seem to be unaffected. At any rate, it's good to have employment again, especially since I will be staying here indefinitely and there is no such thing as infinite finances.
I've heard that there is no clear system of laws in this city... is that actually so?

I'm starting to find the ticking rather exasperating; if you don't mind, I'd like to pick up Alexander since I wouldn't want to impose by moving in on short notice and simply because of something that it is still possible to ignore. I can move my things out of the way from your flat to the one that I found presently, as well.

I know it is late, but I apologize for having passed out when on my way to aid the two of you. I am not the best swimmer, and moving toward shore against the current and keeping myself from drowning took more out of my than I had thought; it appeared to have been primarily exhaustion rather than damage which caused that. Fortunately, aside from that I have been told to be wary of any sign of illness and some minor injuries, I appear to be alright now. Forgive me?
While I regret being damaged and possibly worrying you both, I do not regret trying to be a hero. It would be wrong to regret one's dreams, would it not?

How interesting that my first task would be to outdo myself. Though, I imagine that I am uniquely suited to that since I know where I tend to make mistakes and what sort of details I tend to put focus on. Perfection may be impossible to receive from a human but there is nothing that says that something which comes close would be impossible to receive. Since I am not cursed, I will begin today.
