To the last breath
The City is already a bad soap opera, so a curse based on soap operas should not have been nearly as noticeable except for the decrease in the quality of the drama and increase in noise. That was just annoying.

-A new leash for Alexander since he chewed through his old one
To do list:
-Return Jan's guns and switchblade since I can afford my own
-Visit Waverly
-Straighten up the apartment
-Train a bit since working off some of this nervous energy would be better than bottling it up
-Create... something. I'm not sure yet, but working with parts helps me think.
-Stop thinking so much
-Stop stressing
-Cook dinner
-Remove the screwdriver that was duct-taped to the kitchen ceiling before anyone sees it and asks
-See if I'm needed anywhere in particular
-Brace self for what I will be wearing and doing at my second job if the plan doesn't fall through
-Work more on the spot that I set up in the forest since it still doesn't look like much
...I just have to keep going. This time I can't look away, I can't turn back. So long as I don't look back and keep moving, no one will die in front of me and the odds are higher Waverly will recover. Sitting around and grieving only makes situations worse and makes it harder to see solutions that would otherwise be clear.
