There are two broad classes of casino games. Those like poker, where the house charges a commission for use of a table and you play against other patrons, and those where you play directly against the house.
Of the latter, the only one you should ever play is blackjack. Played perfectly, this game has up to a 2% advantage to the player. The house edge on everything else just means you'll end up paying far too much for the watered-down "free" drinks on the floor.
[The Major is sitting cross-legged on the floor next to one of the slot machines in the casino on Deck 08. She has a kit of assorted electronics and burglary tools--Deck 12 is so useful--and she's picking the lock on the case.]
((OOC: This is a closed commentlog with Akagi, but she'll talk to you over the comms all you like.
ETA: The Major has rigged one slot machine so that the winning and losing noises are reversed, one so that the odds of winning are much higher, and one so that the odds of winning are much lower.
The Stewardess, spoilsport that she is, will be fixing this eventually.))
