Art of War, 8.12:
There are five dangerous faults which may affect a general:
- Recklessness, which leads to destruction;
- cowardice, which leads to capture;
- a hasty temper, which can be provoked by insults;
- a delicacy of honor which is sensitive to shame;
- over-solicitude for his men, which exposes him to worry and trouble.
[Kusanagi's heart said "Once tried to use HV rounds in a service semiautomatic and blew off her own hand," if anyone looked.]
People worried about hypothermia or hearing loss should consider coming out on deck.
[Kusanagi, despite not being worried about either, has taken her own advice and is sitting on deck, facing windward and leaning against a railing. She looks like she's staring off into the middle distance, but is actually reading from her on-board memory. Possibly Art of War.]
