Some dialogue from the book I was reading (Passage by Lois McMaster Bujold) that I liked
"But if ordinary folds can't fix the world, it's not going to get fixed. There are no lords here. The gods are absent"
...
"... but I'm not sure I'd want lords and gods fixing the world. Because I think they'd fix it for them. Not necessarily for me"
