1) At the risk of sounding politically correct/ faking concern, I'm really saddened by the news of Japan. Some of the older generation are gloating over the tragedy cause they believe this is payback time for the misdeeds done during WW2 but who the fuck are they kidding? Those inhuman bastards are probably long dead and gone/ half dead now and it's their descendants that are bearing the outcome and I don't think it's justified and neither do I want to believe that this really is payback. As the Japanese grieve over their loss, here we all are leading our lives as per normal... Waking up and then losing everything you've ever known overnight. None of us can really empathize with their pain. Let's just keep them in our prayers.
Please be thankful for the fact that we're residing in safe and sunny Singapore and let go of all the grumbles/ unhappiness we have towards this island because nothing beats watching your own house being smothered by waves/ falling through cracks.
2) So much for healthy living 2011. I've been indulging in junkfood and late nights... I am incorrigible.
3) I don't know if these girls are reading but Anastasia, Andrea, Eunice, Yen and Yiling- I fucking miss you guys <3
4) Kai has been my devoted Mr Labourer for the past week from the lugging of my new Dry Cabinet (wheee for new home for my cams) home to the hours spent measuring and sawing the Ikea shelves we purchased together some time back for my new wardrobe because it does not have sufficient shelves to accommodate my mountainous pile of home wear. Right now as I'm typing this, he's away in my room drilling holes and fixing the shelves for me! He does all of it without a single complaint (,: I am convinced I've lost every morsel of independence I used to own and I just wanna spend this lifetime relying on him.
5) I'll find time to post more overdued February photos tomorrow before I'm off for the weekend..!! (:
