well first of all,
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME AND COLIN :)
haha I know, "self-centered", but I was excited about it. he came over today after I went SHOPPPIIIING for school clothes, and helped mom pick out clothes for her new job. after we picked him up at his house we went to Sobeys Head Office to give my sister a present at work. thenn I think we went home. as soon as we got here Colin dug out his pocketbike (he brought it with him cause there's no cops to get him in trouble in Toney River, plus there's a lot of trails and dirt roads to bike on.) it broke a lot of times, but he had fun. we also went for a walk down the road to visit the horses, who I missed so much :( but I was so happy to see them! :) but there were also a lot of stinky, fly-covered cows that I hated and I stuck my tongue out at them a lot but that didn't make them go away, let alone make them any less stinky. oh, and my mom cut his hair! Colin's I mean. it looks so cuuuute! and we took 52 pictures of us and they're pretty cute, and I might post some later for those of you who care. (speaking of posting pictures, I am currently working on my huge footballers post, it'll be great, I promise. should probably be done tomorrow.

Mark Viduka scored a stoppage-time goal to give Middlesbrough a win at the expense of Premiership champions Chelsea at The Riverside. Viduka picked up Yakubu's pass on the edge of the six-yard area to rifle past Carlo Cudicini. Andriy Shevchenko scored his first Premiership goal to give Chelsea the lead, poking home Wayne Bridge's cross. Middlesbrough's Emanual Pogatetz headed in the equaliser in the second half from Fabio Rochemback's free-kick. There was just about enough to suggest at The Riverside that Chelsea could find themselves in a pickle on more than one occasion this season. Gareth Southgate's Middlesbrough came close to showing why that might be the case early in the match. Gaizka Mendieta, with a low shot, Chris Rigott and Yakubu, with headers, all went close to giving the Teessiders an early and deserved lead. Jose Mourinho's Blues were handicapped, in relative terms, prior to kick-off when Arjen Robben suffered a calf injury in the warm-up. New signing Salomon Kalou was brought into the starting XI and looked very lively, although he did come up against a very inexperienced Middlesbrough back four. The Ivory Coast international came within inches of opening his league account, but failed to get on the end of his fellow compatriot Didier Drogba's cross. Drogba and his new striking partner Shevchenko appeared to be competing against each other, rather than aiming to forge a solid bond between themselves. If that was the case, then the Ukrainian came out on top. He opened his account in the Premiership after Boro wasted their three early chances. The move itself was a peach. Bridge, who had his second successive impressive game, sped down the left and exchanged passes with Michael Essien before rifling in a low cross that Shevchenko got to ahead of Boro's George Boateng. Shevchenko was very good and a joy to watch. Most of what he did was clever without over-playing and when he did come under a challenge, there were no histrionics. His best moment was not the goal, but when he raced down the left and delivered a superb ball for Frank Lampard whose tame header rebounded off the post and to safety. Lampard had been quiet until then and did not have his best game - neither did his fellow midfielders. They should have killed off the match, but failed to. That allowed Middlesbrough to rediscover the early belief they had. The arrival of teenager midfielder Lee Cattermole and striker Mark Viduka appeared to change the game for Southgate's side. Their endeavour drove their team-mates forward and with 10 minutes left Middlesbrough's efforts were rewarded. A free-kick from the left edge of the penalty area was whipped in and met brilliantly by Pogatetz. A draw would have been seen as a victory for Boro, but they wanted more - after all, how many times does a team have the chance to beat the all-conquering Chelsea? So in the depths of injury time, Viduka made sure he was first to pick up a knee pass from team-mate Yakubu. He swivelled on a sixpence and sent the home support at The Riverside wild.

Rampant Manchester United maintained their stunning start to the season against Charlton at The Valley. Darren Fletcher capitalised on an error by Addicks defender Jon Fortune to smash home the opener after half-time. Louis Saha made it 2-0 from 20 yards before substitute Ole Gunnar Solskjaer slotted in the third at the death. United, who have hit eight goals in their two opening games, were never short of options in attack despite being without suspended duo Wayne Rooney and Paul Scholes. Saha led the attack on his own, supported from the flanks by the lively Ryan Giggs and Cristiano Ronaldo. Boss Sir Alex Ferguson drafted in Fletcher, Mikael Silvestre and Park Ji-Sung, while Iain Dowie took charge of his first home game, bringing in Fortune for the suspended Djimi Traore. Ronaldo, who was jeered by the Charlton fans from the start, raised a cheer from the home faithful by firing wildly off target in the seventh minute. Park should have broke the deadlock when he was picked out unmarked inside the box by Rio Ferdinand. He spun quickly but drilled a low shot straight at Carson, who was making his home debut for Charlton after signing on loan from Liverpool. Charlton survived again when Giggs struck the post direct from a 20-yard free-kick but then had appeals for a penalty rejected when the ball appeared to strike Patrice Evra's arm. Giggs forced an excellent save from Carson just before the interval when the Welshman weaved his way into a great position on the left and curled a shot which the keeper did well to parry away. Ronaldo blasted the ball against the crossbar seconds later from 25 yards, leaving Charlton relieved to go in on level terms at the break. United went ahead on 49 minutes after Fortune made a hash of clearing Park's speculative cross from the right, allowing Fletcher to coolly take control before firing an unstoppable shot into the net. Sir Alex's side turned up the pressure as they sought to kill the game off and Ronaldo's trickery on the left ended with Park slamming the ball against the post. Charlton should have been awarded a penalty on the hour when Wes Brown went up for a header in a penalty-box scramble only for the ball to strike his arm. United gave £18m signing Michael Carrick his debut for the final 14 minutes after his recovery from injury and he set up Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who was denied by a brilliant Carson save. The ever-popular Solskjaer rounded off a superb night for United when he sidefooted in the third from Saha's cross for his first Premiership goal in three injury-hit years.
