Mark,
Why do YOU get to rule for stealing MY point?
UgH, well basically I was gonna make a big ol DEADjournal post about this tonight, but now it will just look like I am copying you. So I guess I have to rant here.
You stole my words but not my point. My point was that ok, if you believe in God, then you essentially believe in a big man in the sky. Cause thats what I see when I think of God. But you look at the people who believe in him, people that God to church and pray and such, and by all rights they look like the most normal people in the world. Even aside from looks, most religious people don't hold much belief in the supernatural or aliens or anything like that. BUT THEY BELIEVE IN A BIG MAN THAT LIVES IN THE SKY.
Why is that easier for these seemingly straight-laced people to believe in, rather than a step by step scientific explanation of they way the world was created?
These same people trust science enough to take medicines and use products created and discovered by science. No one disputes how our circulatory system works, the science of it. Yet the Big Bang theory is TOO Outrageous. Yep, the theory that there is a BIG MAN IN THE SKY is far more logical.
Makes not a lick of sense to me.
And since there's no point in me updating my journal now, I will just post what I was going to in there..here.
I live with gay people and I am friends with gay people but I just wanted to make a few announcements to the gay community:
1. Stop straight bashing. You're almost worse than black people. 2. Just cause I like you guys and believe in your right to be equal to heterosexuals doesnt NOT make me a "straight ally". That is the stupiedest thing I ever heard. 3. Stop dwelling on your sexuality. It's annoying.
And to that man that made a snide remark in the comments before mine:
I bet YOU'VE been sitting around YOUR computer all day waiting for Mark to respond to said snide remark. Which makes you the big loser in all this.
