Today I made organic lemonade.
Holly gave me a huge garbage bag full of 12 sets of lace and sheer curtains that one of her friends didn't want anymore, cause she knew I could do something with them, so I am working on two skirts atm, both out of the ivory lace and from the same sewing pattern, but one has ivory lining and one has black. I may do a 3rd in rose lining, but we'll see how these turn out. Other than that, I am just trying not to spazz out, and get everything done for SImone's very subtle, yet special birthday. Jeremy's father may actually come! But we'll see, since he's starting up chemo AGAIN, starting this Friday. Ugh. He just doesn't want to quit fighting, I guess.
Did I mention that my hair is black again? It looks so much better. You can tell it's dry, but the dye I used made it all shiny and rich looking. It's not as pretty as before, but it's a start, and it's really making rethink cutting it.
There's a lot going on in my head right now, and I feel strange trying to word it, when it doesn't even make sense to me yet. Many decisions are being made, and strange changes. I guess I will write it all down when we sort it out. It all has to do with future plans and where we will be living/working in the next few years. SO many options to explore, and only money holding us back.
Have I mentioned how desperately in love Jeremy and I are? We spent some time in SImone's room, talking about silly stuff and making each other laugh. Subjects included bowling alley hallways, checkered hallways, ink blots, ink spazzes, silly limericks we wrote in high school to the tunes of other songs, and Jer suggested that a chick band should do that with the song "Breakin' The Law", and instead use the words "Flickin' The Bean".
I then took a shower and went to bed, while he stayed up making a fun mix cd for the car. When he crawled in bed, he spooned up behind me and we tangled our legs together. He's gorgeous and it's nice to just have casual evenings to be silly and cozy. lovelovelove!
