so my oldest sister got married on saturday. i still can't believe it. never in a million years did i think this day would come (if you know my sister you'd know why) she looked so beautiful, it blew my mind. her and mahmood make the perfect couple and i'm so happy to call him my brother in-law :] because moody (madmood) is muslim, michelle converted a few months ago. we're catholic but not very religious so my parents had no problem with her choice. they actually couldn't be happier. being at the mosque watching them wed was a whole other world. unlike catholic weddings, muslim weddings are only 20-25 min long. sooo amazing haha. The Imam stands there and reads parts from the Qur'an and talks about how sacred love and marriage is, it's quite beautiful. Moody cried while reciting his vowels, it was so cute. When they pronounced them husband and wife i couldn't stop crying. i was so happy. after we went to take pictures and then to the reception. it was a beautiful but long day. i can write for days about the wedding but here are some pictures instead :]
