the anatomy of an overcast day

Aug 19, 2005 22:35

it's days like these when you just don't want to get out of bed or you would rather have your life paused in the timeframe of being in the shower for the rest of the day. the clouds hang low like vultures, just waiting to feast on your dying moral, the air is pale like a cadaver. the house is empty, lonely, abandoned. the clock reads 5 in the evening and you rub your tired eyes which hadn't felt rest for nearly two days.  although it's a late summer day, it's unusually cold, everything seems frozen or lifeless, you're no exception, the warmth leaves your body and suddenly you're a skeleton in a skin coffin walking towards nothing particular.

so i decided to go blue

coincidently i also went with goofy faces, a neopolitan tie, and (unfortunately) pomade
