Into the Fire - Thirteen Senses
When Ichigo and his friends first encounter the Soul Society, they are enemies. So I started this mix off with a slow, steady song outlining SS from their perspective

1st Division Captain Yamamoto
Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise - The Avett Brothers
The most powerful of all the captains, Yamamoto is a man who is both just and fair. He does everything in his power to uphold the ideals of Soul Society, and the song I chose represents that.

1st Division Lieutenant Sasakibe
Twenty-Four - Switchfoot
With an undying loyalty to his captain, Saskibe will also do whatever it takes to defend Soul Society. It can't be easy living in the Shadow of his Captain, but he does so gladly and loyally. The song I chose kinda reflects both these aspects of his character.

2nd Division Captain Soifon
Blinding - Florence & the Machine
Soifon used to be a loyal friend Yoruichi, but when Yoruichi fled from Soul Society, Soifon was never quite the same. Becoming bitter and resolving to never again depend on another, she worked her way up to take Yoruichi's place as captain of the 2nd division and Commander in Chief of the Secret Mobile Corps.

2nd Division Lieutenant Omaeda
Real World '09 - Rob Thomas
A bit of an idiot at times, Omaeda seems like an odd choice for Soifon's Assistant Captain. However, he is incredibly loyal to her, and will fight by her side to the end.

Former 3rd Division Captain Gin
Possession - Evans Blue
Ah, Gin. What to say about Gin?Well, he's a bastard, really. But that doesn't seem to have hurt his fan-base any. Gin is one of those characters who you never quite know what he's thinking. Always hiding his true intentions behind a cheery smile, he is incredibly perceptive and is very good at getting under your skin.

3rd Division Lieutenant Kira
Break Myself - Something Corporate
Kira constantly wears a bored expression on his face. He cares deeply for others and after Gin defects from Soul Society, he rises up and acts as a commander for the third division.

4th Division Captain Unohana
We Are - Ana Johnson
Despite the fact that she is captain of what is considered the weakest division of the Gotei thirteen, Unohana is no someone whose bad side you want to be on. Extraordinarily kind, she specializes in the healing arts.
