I'm having a bit of a clothes-related crisis because the shops are suddenly full of stuff that's
1. glittery
2. velvet
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS I haven't bought anything new this whole year because it all sucked (last year's party season sucked too! it was terrible) and now this.
Sadly I have absolutely 0 time to try stuff on and buy things, maybe soon. It remains to be seen whether there's anything I can actually wear I guess, considering how everything's still shapeless/slouchy/frowsy.
I also bought new Docs, they are holographic silver (!!!). The goth girl serving me in the shop almost had a seizure that someone was actually buying them, in fact the entire staff was a bit too enthusiastic about it, like they thought I was either crackers or wouldn't wear them, not an odd conclusion because I was still wearing my work clothes.
The world is full of cowards, I literally don't understand why you WOULDN'T wear them. Shoes don't seem to be the sort of thing people comment on, generally, in fact I've never had anyone comment on my shoes except favourably ever in my life which is quite an achievement if you consider the sort of things I've worn.
