I managed to drag myself out of the morass of my Shashi Kapoor fandom for a few hours so here's a post.
Oh well. It beats watching the MST3K of Manos, the hands of fate on a loop like I sometimes do when stressed. Plus, I'm only at 29 films with him in, I've (inexplicably and incredibly) seen 41 with Amitabh.
11: A song that you never get tired of
This is maybe a weird choice but it's what I immediately thought of reading this one.
I don't know, I've listened to this song SO MANY TIMES. On a loop, every year in winter. It's perfect, and actually, sometimes the FARMER JOHN WANTS YOU line still makes me laugh. I've never seen anyone less like a sexy farmer than Cale.
When he plays it live I melt right the fuck away though, like I'm still the 14 year old who first heard it.
