Post-Cardiff Post #2a
Soooo... MEET UP REPORT!
Day One
Friday; got to Cardiff about 1pm, after slight delay somewhere between Bristol & Newport.
Met tazza_di_jo, squeed. Checked into hostel.
Met tiggerbrasilf & others in the Prince of Wales pub. Which still might be my favourite pub.
Gradually everyone else arrived & we headed off to Newport just after 7. Got the train en masse, which was fun, if probably a little bit scary for all the people who weren't with us.
Nearly got ourselves run over, but made it to the gig venue in one piece to see Blue Gillespie. The venue was so hot I nearly died.
GDL was awesome & very, very hot. &hearts
Day Two
Got up just after eight, all toddled off to the train station to meet everyone else and we all went down to Border's ready for GDL's signing. We got in, sat down & got comfy.
son_heir & calliglad immediately went off on a coffee run.
rickman_101 found a new holding place for karaoke!Jack.
We queued. We read the dodgy titles of romance novels aloud to each other. Sexy Beast II, anbody?
Then GDL arrived. Late, but quickly forgiven.
tiggerbrasilf gave him the book. He said it was awesome and started flicking through it until he got rushed on.

Afterwards we went for a picnic. Which I also have no photos of.
I went with
rickman_101 to sort out her parking ticket & everyone else went to Build-A-Bear and bought more bears!
I have no photos of this either.
Theeeeen, we went to the Prince of Wales again. We pushed some tables together & boxed ourselves in so half of us had to climb over railings to get in and out of our seats. It was fun.
There were lots of pictures both of bears and people taken in the pub, but none on my camera. This may require an extra Post-Cardiff Post. But... me & Jack!Bear, because Giorgia just sent me it :P
We went for a walk after that, to wake us all up, and had some fun with some modern art by the stadium;
And then we went to the NCP carpark and had even more fun;
And then we all sat in a circle and wrote crack!fic. One word at a time. I shall tease you all for the crack!fic. It contains the words vibrating Santas.
We headed back to the hostel after that and played pool and tried out about fifteen different board games before bed!
