This chapter feels exactly the way Koyama describes Tegoshi's simstims; gritty. I loved the way Massu was able to handle two conversations at once and I also love the fact that Koyama is merkedly shaken at having to spend his entire night pretending to be on Tegoshi's arm. I really like that it bothers both of them equally.

Also, god, Shige in tight pants and eye liner. . .seriously. Just that. Lord that is sexy, and then the fact that he doesn't like it but it turns Koyama on is also really hot although it feels like something that would bother me in other circumstances. Just, the way you've written it makes it really hot.

YAY! That's totally what I was going for. I had a lot of fun trying to write in that style. <3 It's one of my favorite things about cyberpunk fiction. :D

Koyama and Shige... were both really easy and really hard to write in this 'verse. Because on one hand I know exactly how I feel about their relationship, but on the other... it's hard to walk the fine line between schmoop and seriousness. They both react in such different ways and most of it was in Shige's pov so it was challenging to find ways of showing that Shige was not alone. And I'm glad that you weren't bothered by that scene because I wanted it to be somewhat clear that Shige didn't hate it... it was just out of his comfort zone, and Koyama let him know that he liked Shige every way. Or something like that. XD

Tegoshi brought them into the dark and dirty underbelly of lower Manhattan, hips swaying and his ‘business-face’ on.

Dude. If my Manhattan had had these boys in in, I would have spent more time trolling said seedy underbelly.

From Shige could gather, the ‘reference letter’ was actually a coded list of information on their target and the gentleman was giving Masuda the cipher.

Can I say just how much I love Massu in this fic? He’s so incredibly competent. I love that what he does is a little mysterious to Shige, and that he’s so necessary. Bas-ass Massu makes me such a happy bunny. <3

Gah. Shige is still hot. I still adore the KoyaShige. It’s incredibly precious how anxious they both get, not being able to be close to each other.

After, they lay twined together on the sheets, Koyama’s cheek over Shige’s heart and he whispered to Shige about the first time they went to the ocean when Shige was seven years old, and Shige rubbed gentle circles on Koyama’s ribs with his thumb and didn’t even notice his fingers whitening against Koyama ( ... )

ahahaha, I bet you would have. <3

He's very... on the sidelines. I had fun writing him because I needed him to still seem himself, kind and spacey, but with this competent undercurrent and a weakness he only showed a couple people. And Badass Massu. <3 <3

Thank you. I realize that my KoyaShige in this are complete saps but I love them like that. XD
