i mean, i know the guy. and from what i can deduct, he's not as bad a guy as everyone tries to make him out to be. No one really cares to talk to him on anything more than a superficial level so i don't think a lot of you really have gotten to know the real guy.

Caley, sorry to comment but this entry was shoved in my face by a few people, and while i don't care what's said about me, i can't sit idly by while people are saying things they don't have a lot of knowledge in about Brantley. Few that read this lj have ever really gotten to know him. Spending time with him in highschool and such may associate you with a majority of someone's day to day actions, yet it's not as if most of you ever sat down and had a long and serious conversation with the man. And while you may think you know him, your words would tell me otherwise. He's not out to fuck anyone over. He's the same as the rest of us, Trying to live our lives as they come and doing what we can to be happy and as good a person as our environments, and we, will allow.

I'm sorry...really. I've know Brant for a long time. Much longer than you.and I must say Caley is right. Perfect analysis. I mean its hard to analyze a man who once told us he saved a woman with a broken leg in a jungle in North Carolina by jumping out of a helicopter. And once he jumped out of the helicopter he broke his kneecap...but it was okay because he "popped" it back in place. clearly you didn't read my comment properly, Bev, because at no point do i say he's out to fuck over everyone. Just that he's got some psychological issues that influence his behavior. The data is there make what you will of it. Believe we've all have looong conversations with Brantley. Brantley is still my friend despite certain behavior patterns. You just have to take them into account when dealing with him. Poor B, coulda made something of himself as an engineer...now he's off to die in a ditch somewhere. Don't, Bev, presume to think i havn't gotten to know Brantley. That hypothesis is absurd. I can't tell you how many nights the sun came up while we talked. In fact it is my knowledge of Brantley's behavior that allowed me to predict the relationships he would form with Liza and eventually You.
