its going to be a good day..
in an hour or so, i must take myself and throw myself under the water. hopefully washing away some of this dirt on my body. only so that i can perform my almost robotic movements at the grub dog. it's not a great job, but its a job. i have gotten to know so many people that are really interesting. i usually order the truck according to my available energy, as opposed to what we need in the store. most of the time though, the shelves are full.
maybe i should go back to being a bag boy, i miss it. "please don't mash my bread young man"
i am careful with the bread, very careful. i keep the cold items, with the cold items. yes, i can say it and not feel as though i am bragging, "i am a damn good bag boy" sometimes i forget that they came to the store to get food, not talk. poor people, have to hear me ramble on and on about discontinued items and the new carts we will be getting. shit i am excited, they will have calculators on them!! how mathematical is that?
but i am glad i am in the frozen section...tucked way away on the side of the store. did you know that sara lee makes some damn good pies? for the money though, always get food dog products...they are usually just as good. the best part about food dogs products, namely household/cleaning products, is that they are not tested on animals. so some rabbit didn't have to go blind so that you can wash your hair. poor rabbits, they are not even entitiled to names, only numbers for identification. sick world....
but then i will come home, 10 hours later, and wind down with a glass of cabernet sauvignon, reflecting on my day. there will be a black and mild involved, and quite possibly some modest mouse....
