almost ready for the big move
and by 'big move' i mean to wordpress. i've actually already been 'on' it for almost 6 months, but have been too lazy to move my mail, pictures and back up my old host to move hosts to the house. the new site is 'live' and i've got my hosts files updated to point to it, and it posts to livejournal (which in turn displays via rss on misty.org).
i like it a lot better, and it'll let me organize my thoughts and projects in a more efficient way than the drupal site did. plus the old site just looks dated. ew. the template i've got on wordpress is one of the generic ones, but it's fine for now. i'll replace it/update it soon enough. nothing from a eljay side will change, or even look different -- heck, i'm using it right now and it shouldn't be anything new. i can even pick my icons and tags from here - i likes it.
anyways, that's my bit of update for the day. plus if i say i'm going to do it, perhaps i'll finally remember to repoint my mail and dns tonight. :P
