Summing up
*chris is home. thank goodness. i missed him something stupid. :)
*i am nearly done with ani_moore's happy hat. i picked a nice deep purply to match the coat you mentioned. i also bought a red since they're quick and i can make you another one. if not, i will probably make that for the raffle or somesuch.
*other knitting items are progressing nicely.
*i got nothing done last weekend from a non-home stuff perspective. i need to get my ass in gear.
*i did get a lot of home stuff done over the weekend and yesterday. seasonal stuff doesn't seem to be getting to me this year as much as usual. doesn't hurt that it is 70 today, like it was yesterday.
*i am really getting a huge nesting urge, and it's just in time really (see above)
i'm already working on my leave plan for work, and trying to get things in an orderly place so others can handle in my absence. it is hard to believe i'm 30 weeks already. it's like the first 25 weeks are like "OMG THIS WILL NEVER END" and the last 15 are like wait what? nono, slow this down!
busy times ahead too. we've got a 4 week childbirthing class that we're taking at the midwives office coming up, as well as an infant care class and a hospital tour. the shower is fast approaching, and we wanted to have the nursery in some semblance of order before people arrive, so that's on the plate too to accomplish soon. midwife appointments start every two weeks this week too.
