dole whip
so at disney world, my favorite of all the treats they sell there is called dole whip. it's pinapple ice cream, for lack of a better way of explaining it, and it's simply one of the most delicious things i've ever had. they only sell it there at adventureland, which at my advancing age is really the only reason i go in that section of the magic kingdom at all (that an the jungle cruise, i never get sick of that ride).
well, i find out today that there is a place two towns over from my office that SELLS IT OMG. it's the real stuff. i have already given my husband the doe eyes about stopping on the way home.
it truly is a moral imperative. :P

in other news i'm in full D*C panic mode trying to get everything in order, so i've been all but absent from everything as of late. not much going on other than that though, but i'm sure i'll have stories galore after con. i'd love to make it out to faire this weekend, especially with sunday looking rather mild, but i'm swamped. plus i'd really like to make myself new garb before i get there, seeing as it's been years since i had something new to wear to faire. perhaps mid-september i'll be able to make it.
