i am le tired
it's been a while since i posted, other than the friday night roller derby that rocked my socks. practice since then has been just as cool, i assure you.
going home for the weekend was too short, but a nice trip regardless. got to celebrate my sister's marriage, and my mother's birthday. can't beat that. we went bowling on sunday, which was a little bittersweet, since the new bowling alley is the old skate palace, which is where i spent my youth (and even got my first kiss). it was a little hard to see the place retasked into something else, but i suppose it's better than them knocking it down or something.
last week was a nice vacation week - even if it wasn't very relaxing, with people over and parties to be had. it was all good though, and it was nice to see so many people we hadn't seen in varying degrees of 'a little while'.
saw live free or die hard on friday, which was exactly what i thought it would be - fun, splody, and funny. pretty low on the 'likely' meter, but i stil lliked it. we've got so many movies to catch up on, and too many more on the way. we're hitting harry potter tonight though, because i can't wait to see that one. no way. uh un. :P
