last weekend goodness
so last weekend we went up to bawston, just for a little while, and for a very special reason. :) we went to visit with shuelaces and jeppo at their baby shower, and got to meet little callie ruth! what a beauty, and so small and cute! it was hard not to fall right in love with her :) it was so great to see sue and jeff too, it'd been far, far too long since we'd had the chance - and everyone else who came out for the shower too. i hadn't seen peter or chuck and scott for too long, and stephanie was a hoot to catch up with.
it was nice to see my parents too, even if only for a little while. short jaunts like that really make me miss new england, and miss being that close to my mom and dad. i know not everyone is so lucky to have parents that they love to hang out with, and i only wish we could do it more often!
i also go to (finally) meet exoteris after too many aborted attempts. chris calls him my internet boyfriend :P
we had attempted to get together a few times before but it just didn't work out, so it was nice to finally get together. the trip itself was too short though really, we drove up saturday am, and back on monday am. we need some sort of teleportation device to be invented (and don't say the plane, you know what i mean :P)
this week has been uneventful, except for a doctor's appointment yesterday that went probably about as meh as i had feared it would, but it was all alright in the end. this whole week has been sort of a flash and a daze. i've got a big test coming up next friday too, so i've been studying where i can, and tonight marks the start of manditory study time all the way through next thursday. bye bye wow, it was nice playing you. see you next friday. :P
