33 here i come
so today has been a good day (and it seems a very popular day for birthdays, i hope you had a happy one too o2bacelt :P).
it started really last night - me and two of the girls from work totally revisited our teenage years and went to see poison. time does truly stand still in some ways (and unfortunately not in others :P) - they put on a really good show, actually, although cinderella has sounded much better. the singer's voice is just SHOT.
slept over my friends house who lives right in the same town so i wouldn't have to drive 1.5 hours home, and commuted in with them this morning. a few hours of work, and then it was off to lunch and a baseball game team building experience at work. a lot of fun (and some cake!) was had, and the nats won (at least they were winning when we left in the 8th :P) couple this with my hairdresser being able to cut my hair as well as color it thanks to a cancellation, and coming home to roses, a HELLO KITTY BUILD A BEAR and the house decorated by my loving husband? a great start to 33.
i'm mid cleaning for this weekend's party too - i am way too cluttery. and you know, i should file my stuff more than once a year. really. c'mon. i had a pile of stuff to sort into my cabinet like a foot tall. not even exageratting :P
jocasta nu is coming along slowly, but awesomely. i've used probably over 1000 yards on the sashes to date in terms of embroidery. the four bottom ones are done, and the top part of it and the belt is all(!!!) that's left. it is so like me to only get motivated to do this crap at the last minute. i hate/love it. and then after all this D*C sewing is done, then comes faire. i don't know that i have but one outfit that even fits anymore!
