I had lunch with them and though they tried to make everything look alright I knew it wasn't. Even though I saw her ring sparkle from the light above, her eyes did not. Her eyes told me a story of how sad she really is, his eyes were filled with saddness too. "What happened?" I asked myself, though I knew the answer. Her walls were too much for him, he couldn't take a hammer or even a giant bulldozer to penetrate them-he gave up. He is a man who seldom gives up and when he does, you know he tried his best but ALL his efforts were futile. What will happen next? They will never be happy as they once were, he will move on and over time he will get better but her walls will always remain and those very walls are what have killed her.
