I just realized that my natural reaction to effette, self-satisfied people who think they're brilliant and take themselves very seriously is to want to beat them senseless until they repent from their horrible smug ways. I try to tell myself that pity is the proper reaction, that they're just sheltered and want so badly to be interesting and that one day, one day, they'll grow the fuck out of it, but it makes no difference. I have no choice here. I just want to beat them like having blood in their ears will make them realize what shithead moron cockwaffles they've been.

But! But if I want to beat them for their own good, is that really so wrong?
