LOOK AT HOW HAPPY HE IS. I saw it and squealed like Key did on Hello Baby when they first met Yoogeun. Because they are SO EFFING CUTE ASLGKASDGLASDJGLKSGDLHSGLIHGSG. I don't really know anything about Shin Se Kyung, other than that she was in High Kick Through the Roof, that she's one of the top 'ideal types', and that she has a thing for SHINee (because there was an article about that too a while back). And even that was made cuter because Jjong has been all about this woman as his ideal type (among others..) for so long.

I know fans everywhere are shitting themselves with grief, but I am just completely happy. I've got proud noona vibes coming out my ears. Because let's be honest, SHINee as a whole is kind of a socially retarded group, which is why they fit so well with each other. No other combination of people would have as fantastic a dynamic as they do, all together and individually.
And I specifically remember an interview in which they all claimed they'd had no dating experience. And at the time, I had alarm bells going off for a few of them. I mean, Onew had (and has) obviously never dated before (which I'm beginning to think is an '89er thing... -_-;), and Taemin was still way too shy at that time (even now, he still just too jailbait. No matter if he were dating a girl his own age, you know people would still be flipping their shit because HE'S TOO YOUNG, besides all the shit-flipping that would take place because Taemin has SO MANY FANGIRLS). Minho didn't seem very interested in dating, and to this day (in my opinion) only sees girls as props for him to show off for (doing sports) so that he can feel more manly; I don't think he has any interest in the actual process of girls, and may not for a while, honestly, flaming charisma or no. He's way too much all over his hyungs to have any skinship to spare for girls; Minho is just all about his bros right now. As for our Kibummie, he was and is very particular, and that's just the end of that. Key will be Key, no more, no less.
But Jonghyun... I had to think on his answer for a while, because he's just so blatantly horny. His ideal type answers are always physical descriptions, and he just makes no secret of the fact that he really likes ladies. Shit, on Hello Baby, way in the beginning when he still wasn't all that excited about it, the camera kept catching him flirting with random chicks. And later it became part of his schtick to talk loudly about his ideal types. It's the reality SOMEONE wanted, surely...
Anyway, it just didn't seem to fit that he hadn't dated before. But when I thought about his personality more, and why he fits with SHINee... well, duh. Sure, he likes girls, and he's clearly attractive enough to have some interested ones floating around, but his social skills are like, nil. So then the whole not-dating thing made more sense.
