Pride 07 and Open Days :)
i. I went to the University of Manchester open day yesterday. I really liked it, the Classics admission tutour is great- really enthusiastic and extraverted and made the department seem really good. I also really liked the city, obviously it's huge so it'll take some getting used too but I think I'd really enjoy it if I went there. Not to mention the shopping is GREAT. I had a good time with Emma's mum and Aunt embarassing her...very amusing relatives... her Aunt said at one point, 'Oh calm down Emma, smoke some weed.' That was a FUNNY moment.
ii. Durham shennanigans and Newcastle open day the next morning (providing I am halfway sober). And even better the train tickets for London on saturday came! Gay Pride 2007, this is going to be RAD. Minor disclaimer- I am not gay or bisexual (Pete, however is bisexual), however I am up for wackiness and am very keen into acceptance...I think I'm spray dying Pete's hair purple...rock on :)
iii. Anyone else watching Glastonbury? I watched Bjork's set on the BBC website- gods she is fantastic! I was impressed with CSS as well, though till now I wasn't all that sure about the hype.
