(no subject)
Ugh. I can't think of anything to eat. But i'm so hungry. I'm thinking noodles now actually. yes, noodles.
Yesterday was fun. We went to matt's mom's house for a barbeque and it was very yummy. I enjoy barbeques I've realized. There is always good food. We brought Indie with us, so there were five dogs running around. And indie was the only one over 15 pounds. It was amusing. They kept trying to play with her, but I think she was just overwhelmed with Tasha and Trixie both jumping at her face and Heidi walking up to growl at her. she basically just wandered the backyard, but she seemed to be having fun. She even got a table scrap which would normally never happen at home. I bet she was sad when it was time to go home.
I started working at the new store today. Work has actually been extremely fun lately. My last day at the old store was so easy. The three girls I was training kept asking me what they should do, so I gave each one of them a job to do for the night, and I ended up not having anything to do myself. So me and dan locked ourselves in the office and secretly checked to see how much everyone was getting paid, and then we did some origami and made some little boxes and things for dan to take home for his daughter. After a while Matt went and got us some kfc for dinner so we all headed into the back and feasted on chicken flesh and lots of mashed potatoes. They were delicious. Around this time we were all in the back so the whole store was basically being run by all the new trainees. I ended the night by sitting around eating starbursts and watching matt stock cat cans. It was great.
working at the new store is a pretty cool experience. We got to run around today and see everything first, before anyone else. I sat on the conveyer belt thingy at the register and kristen scanned me. Everything is so new and clean looking, its so weird and different compared to the crap store.I sorta feel bad for the people who were chosen to stay at the old store now that I've seen how cool it is here. Our offices are like real offices instead of dungeons. Our training center is actually closed in and is a separate part of the store instead of just being a little area in the corner of the dog cans.
Our bathrooms are clean! Customers better flush them or I'll beat them.
Well, today was pretty cool because it was only four of us, and we basically prepared the store for all of the stocking that we'll be doing over the next week or so. Tomorrow its the full crew of about 20 people all showing up at 7am. It should be fun though because we all get to take hour lunches at the same time. woot.
I'm now going to eat and clean. fun.
