Today did not start off as I would have liked. We have a single shower a few feet from our room, but it is smaller than the set of three down the hall, so I usually go to the showers further down the hall. Out of the three, only two work. The last stall works, but it sprays water all over your clothes on the bench and into the stall next to you. So of course, the two working showers were being used. So I go down to the single stall, get undressed, get my shit ready to get into the shower and when I turn it on, what happens? Water sprays me in the face and is shooting out, but not out of the head. So this shower is obviously broken too, but so bad that you can't possibly use it. So I dry off, get dressed and go BACK DOWN THE HALL. At this point, I am running late and I am pissed, but trying to shrug it off. Of course, the two good showers are still in use, so I just go ahead and use the crappy shower. It works, but I get water all over the place. I didn't give a shit though, I needed to be clean. I miss my own shower!!
On a happier note in my day, I got my test back from Friday and I got an A! I was so goddamn happy. I got all the essays correct, with some good comments even. I missed three multiple choice. I was so relieved. I have another exam Friday and I didn't hardly study at all for it today. I was just really tired, but I have to start for sure tomorrow. I want to do well on it too.
I met a fellow Slayer fan today. I have seen the dude around before, sporting some cool shirts. So today I said hi and introduced myself. It's so hard to find people who actually listen to metal around here, so I thought why not say hi. He seems really nice, but we only talked for a minute.
Work went well, but tiring. My back was killing me by the end of things.
I am really looking forward to going to Mesa this weekend. I get to see Ricky, the kitties, Danny, and my friends. It will be great to be in the apartment again, just hanging out. It feels like it's been forever.
Ricky and I celebrate 4 years on Friday. Can't believe it's been that long. When I met him, I was 18, and I was such a different person. Ricky and I have been through a lot, that is for sure.
