i feel rejuvinated. alive.
moreso than i had expected. maybe its just the delightful shock of moving into gabes place - or maybe im realising how happy i am to get out of sydney.
brisbane is lovely during winter - admittedly everyone else is freezing, but compared to ol' sydney town it is a veritable tropical paradise.
i went to my first brisbane doof last weekend - and what i found was reasonably consistent with other brisbane experiences. Everyone up here is a bit more relaxed, open, not quite as serious, and although without that pretentious attitude i found prevalent through the north shore and eastern suburbs of sydney.
that being said - i do miss my favourite clothes shops in the newtown area.
i find i have so much more creative energy up here. fingers literally tingling to play - getting the feeling back where i am ready to begin massage again.
hey - im even making my first LJ post for a while. i thought i was over it - but now once again have found the urge to write.
something in the air perhaps? or just a really big change that ive needed for a while to reinspire me.
there a lovely bike track about 12km to work. i have a nice shiny race bike complete with aerodynamic lycra to make me go faster and pose in. it also is completely colour coordinated with my bike.
its such a delightful invigorating sensation powering through corners through the early morning sunlight.
