• They each fully recognize their own desires for the other person but only Emily shows it. Emily asks him out but he is unable to allow himself to be with her. He does he can’t fight the fact that she is who he wants but he is going to try.

• Spencer finally comes to terms with his feelings, knowing that he can’t fight them any longer. He goes to Emily hoping that she will forgive him.

• Spencer shows up at her door, she takes him in and…

• They struggle with there fledgling relationship. Trying to hide it from the team as they come to terms with their own feelings and how they will fit together now.

• There relationship has evolved but as time passes Emily begins to withdraw. Spencer can feel her pulling away from him and into herself, closing up behind her carefully constructed walls.

• Spencer confronts her, breaking under the fear of losing her and what he has found by being with her.

• She cracks open under the pressure of seeing a distraught Spencer. She thought she was keeping it together but reflected in his eyes she is able to see what she was holding in.
