It's that time at school again... COMPETITION~
We're going our Administrative Support Team thing again this year, but with three people instead of four. I feel like we have a better shot than we did last year. We know what to expect, we have a kickass graphic design person, and I (personally) am more confident to step up and say "this is what we need to work on." I feel we'll also be less stressed this year.
I'm also trying to pick a solo event. I've got it narrowed down to either Medical Office Procedures which is part paper test, part document production test and Advanced Word Processing which is all document production. I'm more surefooted with Advanced Word, but it's a much longer event. I'm pretty confident about Medical Office it's just the fact that the abbreviations will kill me. I need to talk with my teacher tomorrow about it.
Basically... I just really want to win this year. I want to go to California... so freaking badly. I want to go to the Walk of Fame. I want to go to Grauman's. I want to stalk various people. Plus I would be there on my birthday (barring another flu outbreak). I could spend my 25th birthday in California! (I would so fucking milk that too. "I came all the way from Oklahoma and it's my birthday!")
In other news... well there's not really any other news... um... I'm kind of on a diet. I'm trying to cut back on the amount of chocolate I eat and soda. Though the soda thing isn't really working. I'm trying really hard to limit to one can a day, but fuck I need my Dr. Pepper. I did have a Diet Dr. Pepper with lunch the other day... and instead of getting chips or the like I got pretzel sticks. The salt is bad, but it keeps me from eating so much at once.
