Omg. Justin. WAS. AWESOME!
Actually managed to talk to him quite a bit before his gig. *squeal* I like, gave him a picture he'd asked me for. *ashamed* But he liked it! He did! He said it looked like Sandra Sully. Yay (It was a picture of the first line of his song Happy Cow; I'm feeling awkward like a bugdie, sitting on Sandra Sully's head as she reads the news about something quite devasting, perhaps an earthquake, and I don't know where to look) Which prompted a second hug and kiss for the evening. Yay!
Then the show was great, he came out with a troll wig over his own hair calling himself Burnie, the short sighted bush fire, TO which he crawled around stage and ended up tangled up with tinsel.
Afterwards I went up to tell him the show went great, but I had to go, He said that they'll be more Melbourne gigs coming in the new year, and He expected to see more of me at them. YAY!
So the tally goes, 3 cheek kisses, 4 hugs. Ah. I'm going to be a full groupie soon. >.<
He had the best line tho of the evening "I want to go back in time, to borrow money off myself" ^^
Most of the other performers of the night were good, The one girl on that night was SHOCKING. She kept dragging on this joke about killing her family because of degreassi high. Bad. But it had one good line to go out on "Wouldn't be funny, if I didn't know I was doing stand up comedy and you were all laughing at the mentally imbalanced girl who killed her family?"
Now. That's not THAT good, But that was the BEST thing she said through-out her entire peice. >.<
And now. To work on The Ugly stick's opening. God. How did I let my brother talk me into doing it all in one week? >.
